"I graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in Fashion Design, Textiles and Retail Management. I started my career as a visual designer for Winston Flowers in Boston. During this time I was also able to learn the art of floral design under the direction of a great mentor. I carried the skills of this training and my retail experience to my next position as the Floral Manager/ Lead Designer at Nunan Florist and Greenhouses in Georgetown, MA. During the seven years there I was able to work with and meet so many great people, but to be honest, my favorite part was working with all the brides.
In my 10-year career I have created one of a kind floral pieces for over 400 weddings. Once I realized that my passion is wedding and event floral design, I knew I wanted to work for myself. I love what I do and I think it shows in every bouquet, boutonniere, and centerpiece. I love eye-catching color combinations and texture. I’m extremely detail-orientated and take great pride in everything that is created in our studio. The style, theme, and wishes of our clients are incorporated into unique and beautiful floral designs. My favorite part of my job is delivery day. Witnessing the expression of our bride on her wedding day receiving her bouquet and when she sees our final creations at the ceremony and/or reception gives me the greatest joy!
When I’m not in the studio, I can be found spending time with loving husband, wonderful son, family and friends, doing something crafty, decorating, drawing, practicing yoga, or enjoying something sweet. "

"I have favorite flowers for each season, in the fall my favorite flower is the dahlia, in the winter it is amaryllis, in the spring it is the peony, and in the summer my favorite is the sunflower."
" I find most heartwarming when our bride uses fabric, lace or ribbon from a loved ones belonging. Or when the bride wants to incorporate a personal item from a loved one like a broach, charm or piece of jewelry into her bouquet "
" I would have to say I have four favorite parts throughout the whole wedding/event flower process. First, I love establishing a relationship with my client, getting to know them and bring their vision to life. Second, I love putting together the flower order for the event/wedding where I am able to make the final decision for the specific combination of flowers for each piece. Third is actually designing the event and fourth is the setup, seeing the final product and putting the final touches on the event is why I do what I do. "
